How to write "Andry" in Japanese kanji(Chinese characters).

Japanese uses three distinct writing systems called kanji(Chinese characters), hiragana, and katakana.

Generally, foreign names are not written in kanji, but rather presented in a Japanese alphabet known as katakana. Ninja John can create custom products for you with your name’s kanji(Chinese characters).

When the name Andry is written in katakana, it appears like this: アンドリー(AN-DO-RI-I)

We search for kanji that can be read the same way, and using those phonetic characters, we create a name in kanji.

This time we created the following name in Kanji: 安努理偉

安 can be read as “AN,” and means “be [feel] rested” or “peace of mind.”

努 can be read as “DO,” and means “make an effort.”

理 can be read as “RI,” and means “reason” or “a principle.”

偉 can be read as “I,” and means “grand.”

When we combine the kanji 安 + 努 + 理 + 偉 Andry’s name in kanji (安努理偉) is then complete.

(To be honest, there are other ways to write "Andry" in Japanese kanji, so this is not the only correct way! ).

It’s possible that Japanese people won’t recognize the phonetic reading of 安努理偉 (Andry’s kanji) right away, but when presented together with furigana (the katakana pronunciation), they will surely understand.
